This page explains what information jeremeyrodriguez.com collects, why, and who it's shared with. In short: the site measures how it's used so it can be improved, and keeps what's needed to deliver the photos you buy. Your information is never sold.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: which pages, galleries and photos are viewed, what is added to the cart, and when an order is completed. Google Analytics also records general information such as your device type, browser, approximate location (city level) and the site or link that brought you here. It uses cookies to tell visits apart.
Google Analytics never receives your name, email address or payment details. You can turn it off for every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and Google explains how it uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Buying photos
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this site.
When you place an order, the site keeps your name, email address, the photos you ordered and what you paid. They're used to deliver your downloads, contact you about your order, and keep business records.
Stored in your browser
Your cart is saved in your browser so it's still there when you come back. It stays on your device and isn't sent anywhere until you check out.
Who your information is shared with
Only the services that run the site: Google (Firebase, which stores the photos and order records, and Google Analytics), Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (which delivers the site). Your information is never sold or used for advertising.
Your choices
You can browse and download free photos without giving any personal information. To get a copy of the order information held about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. Records needed for tax and accounting are kept as long as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
